I hate weeks like these. Kyle's been on late shifts this week, so be doesn't get to see us much other than a couple hours in the morning...and Elsa is in bed by the time he gets home. At least today is his last shift and then he's off tomorrow so we have a nice long weekend. Shane (his brother) is coming in from Calgary, so I guess we'll be having supper at his parents place on Saturday. I just hope the two of them don't waste an entire day away playing video games. I enjoy the weekends because I get a bit of a break, and help with Elsa. I'd like to take Elsa to the zoo on Sunday as admission is free for the rest of the month. I think it's supposed to be +8, so it should be reasonably nice out.

Kyle's ultrasound is on Monday, and he booked a follow-up with his dr for next Thursday to review the results. I'm going to go with him so I can ensure he asks the right questions. I just want an answer! I'm starting to feel a bit anxious about it again because his spleen/abs/quad have been painful this week. I'm just trying to stay positive.

Elsa and I went to our first ICAN meeting last night. It was small and informal - 3 other woman. One woman had 2 sections, the other had one and is 20 wks pregnant with her second and planning an vbac. The other woman just had her baby girl 10 wks by section after attempting a home water birth with a midwife. She's really nice and is having a lot of trouble coping and accepting her birth. I feel sad for her. I tried to offer words of encouragement. It does get easier but it's a tough pill to swallow after wanting to go natural. She found me on FB and we are planning to do coffee next week.

I guess that's about all for now!
